DRAGONS' DEN ANNOUNCES WOLF BLASS WINES AS PRESENTING SPONSOR FOR ONLINE WEBISODES: NEXT GEN DEN

CBC is pleased to announce Wolf Blass Wines as the presenting sponsor for the first   installment of NEXT GEN DEN, an online group of 12 webisodes targeting young tech-focused   entrepreneurs through mobile viewership. An entrepreneur himself, Wolfgang Blass AM revolutionized Australian wine-making by founding his own brand in   1966, and since then Wolf Blass has gone on to win more than 300 international awards and accolades.

“We are exceptionally pleased that Wolf Blass is supporting Next Gen Den and the spirit of entrepreneurship,” said Angela Lyons, marketing director for   Wolf Blass. “Our founder, Wolfgang Blass, was a young entrepreneur who moved to Australia to pursue his passion as a winemaker. After winning in his   domestic market, Wolf’s determination to succeed propelled his brand to become one of Canada’s top-selling wines. We hope his story inspires a new   generation of entrepreneurs.”

These successful entrepreneurs   represent the next generation of Dragons and include Michael Hyatt, chairman of Bluecat; Michele Romanow, co-founder of Buytopia.ca and SnapSaves; Matthew   Corrin, CEO and founder of Freshii; and Paul Miklas, CEO of Valleymede Building Corp. All are under 50 years old and boast a combined wealth of over $100   million dollars. Their expertise spans the sectors of economics, QSR (quick service restaurants), digital ventures and real estate.

New webisodes will be available each Monday at www.cbc.ca/nextgenden. The first two are available   now.
