THE FANS HAVE SPOKEN AND THE CBC MUSIC AWARD WINNERS HAVE BEEN DECIDED!

CBC Music fans have voted and decided the winners for CBC Music Awards. From tens of thousands of nominations, Canadian music fans have selected winners in 10 categories. The winners are fan favourites chosen from across the country, representing different genres and languages and celebrate this year’s top Canadian talent.

Announced this morning on CBCMusic.ca, the 2014 winners are as follows:

Artist of the Year: Celine Dion

Best Song of the Year: Arcade Fire - Reflektor

Album of the Year: Serge Fiori - S/T

Rising Star: The Strumbellas

Best Live Show: Arcade Fire

Best Independent Artist: The Rural Alberta Advantage

Best Video of the Year: July Talk - Summer Dress

Best Fan Engagement: Michael Bublé

Heart of Gold: Jim Cuddy

International Artist of the Year: Ed Sheeran
