The CBC Music Awards recognizes the best in Canadian music—as decided by CBCMusic.ca fans, unlike other music awards which are based on sales or spins. CBCMusic.ca is celebrating this year’s top Canadian talent by inviting listeners to support their favourite artists through a set of online people’s choice polls.

Voting for the long list is now live and goes until Monday, December 1. The shortlist will be announced on CBCMusic.ca on Tuesday, December 2. The winners of the fan-voted CBC Music Awards will be announced on Tuesday, December, 9.
