JOIN CBC AND CIBC AS THEY CELEBRATE CIBC SOCCER NATION WITH A 2014 FIFA WORLD CUP BRAZIL™ VIEWING PARTY THIS SATURDAY IN MONTREAL

This family -friendly bilingual event features games, activities and a live broadcast of the Brazil vs. Chile and Colombia vs. Uruguay Round of 16 matches from 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™
 
The free event runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 28
 
CBC is proud to partner with CIBC to bring Canadians CIBC Soccer Nation, a seven-city viewing tour each weekend throughout 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, bringing the beautiful game to audiences in communities across the country. This weekend marks the third stop on the cross-country tour with a viewing party in Montréal at 3535 Boulevard Saint-Laurent (between Rue Sherbrooke and Rue Prince Arthur). Each CIBC Soccer Nation event is made possible with additional support from adidas.
 
Soccer fans of all ages come out to take part in CIBC Soccer Nation’s tour as we celebrate the beautiful game across Canada. Fun activities for the entire family this Saturday include a live viewing of the Brazil vs. Chile and Colombia vs. Uruguay Round of 16 matches on a giant screen, the CIBC cheer booth, the adidas zone and a Sony PlayStation® FIFA 14 video game tournament for the chance to win great FIFA prizes. The first 250 fans in attendance to show a CBC ambassador that they have downloaded CBC’s FIFA World Cup™ App brought to you by Bell on their iOS or Android device will receive a mini-ball. Plus, CBC Montreal’s Frank Cavallaro (@fcavallarocbc) and Doug Gelevan (@DGelevan) will be on-site to welcome fans to the event.

CEBL and CBC Sports release 2026 Season Broadcast and Streaming Schedule

Beginning May 9, CBC Sports will live stream every game of the 2026 CEBL season on the free CBC Gem streaming service, cbcsports.ca and CBC Sports YouTube channel. Additionally, six regular season matchups, the Conference Finals and the best-of-three CEBL Finals will be broadcast nationally on CBC TV.
