CBC MUSIC AND TD COME TOGETHER FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC

TD Live Music will be the new online destination for music fans to access videos, weekly concert listings and the latest in Canadian music news!

CBC Music and TD are joining forces in an innovative new partnership to launch an all-new music portal on CBCMusic.ca - TD Live Music. Visitors to cbcmusic.ca/tdlivemusic will be able to explore and enjoy Canadian live music through hundreds of videos of in-studio and in concert recordings, weekly concert listings, music news and reviews, photo galleries and much more. CBC Music will be curating all of the content on the site with frequent updates on the latest music news.

“At TD, we love music and understand the power it has to bring people together from all walks of life,” said Chris Stamper, Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing, TD Bank Group. “And that’s why we are thrilled to work with CBC Music on this incredible opportunity which will not only demonstrate our commitment to music but provide a source of information and entertainment to Canadian music fans everywhere.”

This new online destination is designed to provide music fans access to all of the information they need about the Canadian live music scene, whether at home or on the go via desktop, mobile and tablet. Fans can also join the conversation on Twitter and Facebook using #TDMusic.

In addition, an overarching advertising campaign will take place across multiple media platforms. Spots on CBC Television will feature Canadian artists Jully Black, Randy Bachman and The Arkells, and will begin airing on CBC Television in select regional markets on April 24th. Two separate radio spots will run on CBC Radio Two, voiced by CBC talent Tom Power and Rich Terfry. CBCMusic.ca will feature a navigational tab and direct link to TD Live Music on the homepage as well as digital leaderboards running on CBC.ca.
