Just For Laughs (JFL) and CBC team up to celebrate three decades of hilarious stand-up comedy with the anniversary special JUST FOR LAUGHS 30th ANNIVERSARY: 30/30 HINDSIGHT, airing Tuesday, April 23 at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) on CBC-TV. Hosted by CBC’s primetime personality George Stroumboulopoulos, this epically funny two-hour special features some of comedy’s biggest names, including Chris Rock, Ray Romano, Bill Maher, Rick Mercer, Kathleen Madigan, Ron James, Jeremy Hotz, Lewis Black, Russell Peters, Shaun Majumder, Wanda Sykes and many more, as they weigh in on headlines plucked from the past thirty years.
 
The special features a variety of themes including: technological advances, medical research and geopolitical changes that have shaped and defined our culture since JFL’s inaugural Festival way back in July of 1983. The special features everything from Jon Stewart‘s deconstruction of President Bush’s handling of the first Iraq War to Louis CK‘s assessment of racism in the 21st century to Drew Carey‘s take on Global warming.

JUST FOR LAUGHS 30th ANNIVERSARY: 30/30 HINDSIGHT is a no-holds-barred celebration of Canada’s favourite comedy festival. Delving into JFL’s extensive library showcasing highlights from over 30 years of comedy, the special features comedians who have helped propel it, along with themselves, to greatness.
