Conrad Black to be a Special Guest on The Lang & O'Leary Exchange - Thursday, September 27th on CBC News Network

September 25, 2012 - Conrad Black - the always fascinating and controversial Canadian-born member of the British House of Lords - will be a special guest on this Thursday’s THE LANG & O’LEARY EXCHANGE on CBC News Network. Appearing for half-an-hour with co-host and CBC News’ Senior Business Correspondent, Amanda Lang, Black will dive into the economic and business issues of the day, offering a unique perspective from one of this country’s most interesting figures.

Black will be appearing alongside THE LANG & O’LEARY EXCHANGE’s regular Thursday panel, which includes:
• Armine Yalnizyan, Senior Economist, Centre of Policy Alternatives
• Bill Robson, CEO, CD Howe Institute
• Goldy Hyder, General Manager, Hill and Knowlton Canada

The guest appearance will air Thursday night, September 27, at 7 p.m. ET on CBC News Network’s THE LANG & O’LEARY EXCHANGE.

This news comes on the heels of an announcement made earlier today, confirming that Barbara Amiel, wife of Conrad Black, will be a special celebratory judge at this year’s Hilary Weston Writers’ Prize for Non-Fiction. CBC Books is the proud media partner of the prize, to be presented in Toronto this November.
