PETER MANSBRIDGE INTERVIEWS STEPHEN HARPER, IN LONDON, TONIGHT ON THE NATIONAL

10 p.m. (10:30 NT) on CBC-TV and 9, 10 and 11 p.m. ET/PT   on CBC News Network

In London to cover the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, CBC News chief   correspondent Peter Mansbridge sat down with Prime Minister Stephen Harper   earlier today for an exclusive-to-CBC News interview.

The   interview airs tonight, June 5, on THE NATIONAL,  10 p.m.  (10:30 NT) on CBC-TV and 9, 10 and 11 p.m. ET/PT on CBC   News Network.

Prime   Minister Harper makes his strongest comments to date on the European debt crisis   and its impact on the global economy, including Canada’s:

“I   don’t want to sound too alarmist, but we are kind of running out of runway   here,” Harper tells Mansbridge.

The   Prime Minister also reveals what worries him the most and what advice he has for   Canadians saving for their retirement.
