The cast? Teaching? Just include #mrd in your tweet and join the conversation. MR. D airs at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT). A huge ratings success since its debut in January, MR. D is a comedy about an under-qualified teacher trying to fake his way in a teaching job at a swanky private school, just as he fakes his way through life. www.cbc.ca/mrd

Then at 9 p.m. (9:30 NT) Kevin O’Leary and partner Brian O’Dea catch up with the original participants of REDEMPTION, INC. six months after the filming of the series, which followed a group of ex-cons in their bid to become business partners with O’Leary and win a $100,000 bankroll. The winner has started a new business, and the other participants have forged ahead with newly-acquired resources and skills. Three have acquired new jobs. Two have gone into business together.  It’s unclear whether one participant can even be found - and another is on the brink of an extraordinary breakthrough.
