Canada’s public broadcaster to air The 2018 JUNOS live from Vancouver, BC
TORONTO – Following an agreement reached early this year, The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced a new six-year exclusive broadcast partnership with CBC today, after a successful 16-year exclusive partnership with CTV. The 47th annual JUNO Awards will be broadcast live on CBC from the Rogers Arena, home of the Vancouver Canucks, on Sunday March 25, 2018, with JUNO Week celebrations running from March 19-March 25, 2018.

In addition to broadcasting the JUNO Awards, CBC will build on its commitment to Canadian music by launching new music programming initiatives and special events throughout the year in partnership with CARAS, including covering a more diverse range of genres and musicians and investing in educational programs to support the next generation of artists.
