CBC KIDS DAYS KICKS OFF JULY 19 AND 20 IN TORONTO CELEBRATING TWO DAYS OF FREE FAMILY-ORIENTED ACTIVITIES

The fun-filled schedule includes live performances, games, activities, crafts, and much more!  

Appearances by fan-favourite Studio K hosts, Gary the Unicorn, The Moblees, and Daniel Tiger 

 

Toronto’s annual summer CBC Kids Days returns on July 19 and 20 for a two-day fun family event. Kids and their parents, and caregivers are invited to the CBC Broadcast Centre in Toronto from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to join the festivities.  The celebration includes interactive activities, live performances on the indoor stage, outdoor entertainment, and more. Meet and greets will be held by Studio K hosts Janaye, Tony, and Victor, as well as CBC Kids favourites Gary the Unicorn, Mr. Orlando, Cottonball the Cat, THE MOBLEES, DANIEL TIGER, DOT, NAPKIN MAN, BOOKABOO, SCOUT, CHIRP, and the CBC Kids mascot Ceebee!

The live shows include performances of popular CBC Kids’ series THE MOBLEES and WILL STROET AND THE BACKYARD BAND. The outdoor entertainment will feature Jessie Farrell, with music from SCOUT & THE GUMBOOT KIDS. Plus, kids will have the opportunity to enjoy and watch the cbckids.ca Friends Parade featuring several CBC Kids stars.

Kids will be able to make crafts, jump in the bouncy house, ride kid motorcycles, have their faces painted, try a virtual Studio K dress-up activity, and get their picture taken on the red carpet at the “Everyone is an Important Person” Hashtag photo station. Also, kids will be able to see where the magic happens and meet Putter by taking a tour of Studio K. In addition, CBC’s Dwight Drummond will be on-site to co-host a Junior Journalist Contest hosted by CBC Toronto News. Parents can take a break at the CBC Parents pit stop which provides stroller parking, quiet activities, and a feeding and changing station. 2:30 P.M. – Studio K Live! Encore (Balloon Drop)
