October 23, 2024 – CBC is bringing audiences in Canada a special double-length episode of THIS HOUR HAS 22 MINUTES that will journey across the great American political divide to tell the story of the most consequential U.S. election of this generation, from a distinctly Canadian (and comedic) point of view.

Premiering Monday, November 4 at 8 pm/8:30 NT on CBC and CBC Gem, THIS HOUR HAS 22 MINUTES HAS 44 MINUTES: A U.S. ELECTION SPECIAL will showcase the candidates, including their key policy positions, their quirks and their cons. The special features the award-winning 22 Minutes ensemble cast, including Aba Amuquandoh, Stacey McGunnigle, Trent McClellan, Chris Wilson and Mark Critch in-studio, as well as comedy news correspondents Dan Dillabough, Clare Belford and Abdullah Usman, as they criss-cross the United States to cover all the major issues and antics.
