February 3, 2025 – The following changes have been made to CBC's schedule as a result of Ontario Election coverage on Thursday, February 27:
The season three premiere of CANADA’S ULTIMATE CHALLENGE (7x60) will move from Thursday, February 27 at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) to Thursday, March 6 at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT). New episodes of the series will continue Thursdays on CBC and CBC Gem until Thursday, April 17.
The season three premiere of BOLLYWED (8x30) will move from Thursday, March 20 at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. to Thursday, March 27 at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. New episodes of the series will continue to be available back-to-back Thursdays on CBC and CBC Gem until Thursday, April 17.
THE NATURE OF THINGS’ scheduled episode from award-winning Cree filmmaker Tasha Hubbard, Singing Back the Buffalo, shifts from Thursday, February 27 to Thursday, March 9 at 9 pm (9:30 NT) on CBC and CBC Gem. Season 64 of THE NATURE OF THINGS continues in March with Dances with Cranes (March 13) and Plastic People (March 20).
CANADA’S ULTIMATE CHALLENGE (7x60) is an original reality competition format that transforms Canada into a giant obstacle course. Hosted by Brandon Gonez, season three sees 20 extraordinary Canadians split into five teams to face relentless challenges that demand physical grit, mental sharpness, and the ability to navigate fiery team dynamics. This season starts in the majestic surf town of Tofino, BC and spans iconic stops in Vancouver, BC, Drumheller, AB, Saskatoon, SK, Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Mont Tremblant, QC and Halifax, NS. BOLLYWED (8x30) is a heartwarming docu-series centred around the Singh family, who have been operating the iconic bridal shop, Chandan Fashion, in Toronto’s Little India for almost 40 years. The series shines a fascinating light on the booming and glamorous world of South Asian culture and fashion, and offers an authentic glimpse into an intergenerationally run business led by father Kuki Singh, his wife Sarab, and their two children Chandan and Chandni, and daughter-in-law Roop. The stakes are higher, the drama is bigger, and the fashion is bolder in Season 3! This time, the Singh family takes us on their most emotional and exciting adventure yet—a trip back to their roots in India. With Kuki and Sarab preparing to renew their vows, the family dives headfirst into a whirlwind of wedding prep, personal reflection, and professional reinvention.
